Adjustments and Manipulation

Adjustments

Whether to recover from injury or to enhance performance,   Chiropractic care is an excellent way to keep the body functioning.

When the body is adequately aligned, it becomes able to respond and perform as it was built to do. Spinal manipulation improves nerve function by relieving pressure on joints which reduces inflammation and also reduces muscle spasms.  Since the nervous system has a connection with ALL  processes of the body, conditions such as allergies, menstrual cramps, headaches, neck pain, back pain, sports injuries and more , often resolve when a person undergoes chiropractic care.

How Does Spinal Manipulation Work?

There are well over 100 types of adjustment techniques used by chiropractors throughout the world. Some practitioners may use force and twisting, while other techniques are more gentle.  At our clinic it can be said we use the gentle type. Regardless of how they are performed, these techniques are intended to restore or enhance joint function with the objectives of removing interference to nerve function. This  restores nerve communication and reduces joint inflammation and  pain and muscle spasms.  The Chiropractic goal  is  to remove interference to the nervous system by reducing pressure on the surrounding tissue of the nerves through manipulation.
